Began like any other day. I skimmed media reports for my daily rant. I saw a report about a body being found, shot and set on fire, there wasn’t a lot of information I bookmarked it so I could circle back to check for updates.
I began my posts, I was about 3 or 4 posts in, maybe more when I got a notification about a comment from Jessica Meretseger Caldwell. I clicked on it… it said, and I’m paraphrasing “Darren was murdered last night”.
I remember reading those words and thinking, murdered Darren? Nah unless she was talking about Darren Wilson she was wrong… I was waiting for Darren to hit me back about an interview Irritated Genie of Soufeese wanted to do with both of us. He would be hitting me up any minute I would get an inbox, call or text. She either posted or inboxed a link to the news article. It was the same article I bookmarked. ~ Nyota Uhura
